We had our Maternal Fetal Medicine appointment on Oct 23rd. They basically do a more in depth ultrasound and look and measure from head to toe and look for gender (we already knew), check all of her organs, measure her bones, watch the heart pumping blood. It was fascinating really. I am in awe of God’s little miracle growing inside of me. She is developing perfectly! Everything that they check for in this ultrasound looked absolutely wonderful, and there is no need to see that specialist for any follow up visits (as much as I would love to “see” her more haha). The intended parents were able to be there and it was a very special time together.
I can now feel her moving a lot more. David can actually feel her now too which means she is growing big and strong! I have a little heartburn now, but nothing terrible and I am trying to force myself to slow down. I keep myself so busy…and I feel fine while I am busy(so I keep going), but then I crash and realized I did too much and need to take it easy for a bit. It is a personality thing…I am not good at sitting still.
